Last year, Creative Commons in partnership with InternetLab and other organizations from their global network published an analysis on the regulatory proposals regarding intellectual property that are being discussed in the negotiations of the UE-Mercosur trade agreement. These negotiations have been happening behind closed doors and, recently, two more drafts of the agreement were leaked.

Timothy Vollmer, Senior Manager for Public Policy at Creative Commons, examined the new changes in the negotiations, focusing on the issues that would affect the public domain, creativity and sharing, and user rights in the digital age.
