Danielle Bello

Researcher

Danielle is a researcher at InternetLab and master’s candidate in Public Administration and Government at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV EAESP), with a focus on state capacities and open data at the municipal level. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Public Policy and in Sciences and Humanities from the Federal University of ABC (UFABC) and a postgraduate degree in Public Management from Insper.

She has been working in public policy at government and civil society organisations since 2016. She coordinated the Advocacy & Research program of Open Knowledge Brasil (2020-2024), leading initiatives aimed at improving democracy by opening up governments and public data. Her previous roles include policy making, managing and advising at both São Paulo City Hall and State Government, in areas such as open government, education and inclusion of people with disabilities. Her experiences also cover topics related to data governance, privacy and technology and governments.
