Carolina Rossini

A Brazilian lawyer with more than 15 years of experience in international law, negotiations of transactions, and policy, with a specific focus on internet, telecom, intellectual property, and human rights,  Carolina currently serves as the Vice President for International Rights at Public Knowledge, based in Washington DC. Alongside her work at Public Knowledge, she is a Global Partners Digital International Associate and  seats in the advisory boards of Open Knowledge Foundation for both the UK and Brazil,  Coding Rights, Instituto Educadigital and the InternetLab in Brazil.
Previously, Carolina was a Project Director at New AmericaFoundation’s Open Technology Institute, the International Intellectual Property Director at Electronic Frontiers Foundation (EFF), and a Fellow at the Berkman Center at Harvard University. Before moving to the US in 2007, Carolina worked at the Center for Technology and Society as a Project Coordinator, and as a lawyer for Telefonica’s ISP, Terra Network S/A, in Brazil. She has an LL.M. on IP from Boston University, an MBA from Instituto de Empresas, an MA in International Economic Negotiations from UNICAMP/UNESP, and a LL.B. from University of Sao Paulo – US (2000).
