Blenda Santos

Researcher

Blenda earned a Master’s Degree in International Relations from the Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the Universidade Católica de Salvador (UCSal). She was a researcher for the Research Group on Human Rights, Right to Health and Family UCSal/CNPq (2016-2018) and the Research Group on Crime in Latin America UCSal (2017).

In 2022, she was one of the 10th ABRI Dissertation and Theses Contest winners. In 2021, she also received the Lélia Gonzalez Prize for Scientific Manuscripts on Race and Politics and the Claudio Weber Abramo Prize for Data Journalism. She is currently part of the Research Group Interpretations of Brazil and Discrimination Markers in a Global Perspective UFBA/CNPq. At InternetLab, she works as a researcher in Inequalities and Identities and Privacy and Surveillance.
